The following is a letter of recommendation from Mark, who studies at Colorado's Alpine Piano Lessons, located in Lakewood, CO:
I am writing this letter as a reference for my piano teacher, Bonnie Kotzer.
I started to play the piano as a 1st grader. I don't even remember why I started, but I continued to play and take lessons through high school. In high school, I accompanied various choirs, singers, musicians, etc. Playing the piano was always a big part of my life.
However, once I began my career, my schedule and my life in general just changed. I almost lost touch (so to speak) with the piano for 25 years.
When I bought a piano, I quickly realized that I would need a good teacher if I really wanted to get back into playing.
As a "re-starter", I have found that taking lessons is a very different experience. Bonnie has a knack for understanding my goals as an adult learner. Obviously, at this point in my life, I am not looking for a concert career. I'm looking forward to having fun playing the piano. Bonnie really enjoys this aspect of teaching. She is able to give me good advice and knows just how hard to push me to be better. Bonnie and I have a very pleasant and fun relationship as a teacher and a student. I am always looking forward to my next lesson.
I would recommend Bonnie Kotzer as a great piano teacher to anyone who might ask.
Sincerly,
Mark
