Children's piano lessons are so important to both the child and their parents. The lessons at Colorado's Alpine Piano Lessons are both fun and challenging, instilling a life-long love of music for the child. Since I own both a Steinway baby grand piano and a Yamaha electric keyboard, the child can learn to play on the type of instrument they are most comfortable with.

Children are taught the basics of note-reading, chords, and improvisation. It is very important to give children songs they are familiar with and enjoy playing. Because of this, I have written 6 books appropriate for very young children, to high school students. These books are fun to play, as well as teaching students specific musical skills. Colorado's Alpine Piano lessons has 2 recitals every year, one in late fall, the other in late spring. The recitals are small, in the friendly, familiar surrounds of my studio in Lakewood, Colorado. The children Children love playing in these recitals! I always get very positive feedback from both the children and the parents.
