Hello, my name is Bonnie Kotzer, and I own Colorado's Alpine Piano Lessons, conveniently located in Lakewood, Colorado.

As a teacher of both piano and keyboard lessons to children and adults, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive, caring, fun, environment that provides a positive musical learning experience.

The styles of music I teach include: popular, classical, blues, jazz, Christian, improvisation, theory, and composition.

Perhaps you are an adult, returning to piano lessons, and you would like to learn the "Moonlight Sonata". Or maybe you are an adult starting piano lessons as a total beginner. Do you have a teenage daughter studying music who wants to learn the latest pop song on her keyboard? Or maybe you have a little child who wants to play "Twinkle Twinkle" on his piano.

Music lessons are a great way to improve concentraton and self-esteem. Plus, they are fun!

Lesson fees are $85.00 monthly for a total of 4 once a week lessons of 1/2 hour duration.

Biography

I started piano lessons when I was 8 years old. My music teachers included members of the Seattle Symphony, and professors from University of Washington, Univerity of Colorado, and Metro State College.

After I graduated from college, I became interested in popular music, and joined a pop/jazz band here in Denver. I played piano at many engagements, both as a soloist and band member. I played music at events from small church weddings, to the Denver Country Club, the governor's mansion, and the Colorado Petroleum Club. I started teaching piano in 1989. Because of my varied musical backround, my students may choose to study classical, pop, jazz and blues, creative improvisation, and fluent sight-reading. Many of my students accompany their church choir, play in their school's jazz band or orchestra, and go on to study music in College.
